Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Internal Audit Data Analytics Specialist to join our team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our audit function, you will design, develop, and execute data analytics initiatives to support our third line of defense (internal controls and risk management). Your expertise will help us identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the integrity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update our data analytics strategy and roadmap to ensure alignment with our business objectives.
  • Collaborate with our Audit Manager Data Analytics to achieve objectives and drive efficiency, quality, and value in our data analytics efforts.
  • Design, develop, and execute data analytics initiatives for our third line of defense, including internal controls and risk management.
  • Manage tooling and source code related to developed data analytics programs and queries.
  • Provide expert guidance on interpreting analytics results and collaborate with auditors and subject matter experts to identify and develop analytic solutions.
Requirements
  • University degree in data/computer science, management information systems, economics, econometrics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of data analytics experience, preferably in audit or risk-related roles.
  • Well-versed in analytical tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, and Spotfire.
  • Good understanding of the end-to-end audit process, including risk-based approaches. Audit-related certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA are a plus.
  • A self-starter with strong communication skills, able to convey complex findings to stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to travel for business, up to 20% of the time.
