About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Tester to join our team at Yacht. as a key member of our Quality Laboratory (QLAB). In this role, you will be responsible for executing objective and reproducible EMC tests, interpreting and reporting test results, and collaborating with our Manager Quality Laboratory to ensure the highest level of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret test designs and independently plan and perform tests to ensure compliance with international EMC standards.
  • Create and build test set-ups that meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Validate test set-ups through performance verification measurements and document observations accurately.
  • Analyze and interpret test results, balancing observations with test specifications and international standards.
  • Decide on compliance and prepare test reports according to internal requirements and international standards.
  • Operate test and measuring equipment, analyze potential failures, and maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
  • Collaborate with the QLAB team to continually improve the Management System and provide feedback on experiences gained.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronic engineering.
  • At least 5 years of practical experience in EMC Testing.
  • Knowledge and experience of quality management systems and regulatory affairs.
  • Quality-conscious, disciplined, accurate, honest, and representative.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to take responsibility.
  • Good team leadership skills and verbal and written communication skills in English.
