About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Tester to join our team at Yacht. as a key member of our Quality Laboratory (QLAB). In this role, you will be responsible for executing objective and reproducible EMC tests, interpreting and reporting test results, and collaborating with our Manager Quality Laboratory to ensure compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret test designs and independently plan and perform tests to ensure compliance with international EMC standards.
  • Create and build test set-ups that meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Validate test set-ups by executing and interpreting performance verification measurements on a daily basis.
  • Document observations and test results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Analyze and interpret test results, balancing observations with test specifications and international standards.
  • Decide on compliance and prepare test reports according to internal requirements and international standards.
  • Operate and maintain test and measuring equipment, including software, to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Collaborate with the QLAB team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to the Management System.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronic engineering.
  • At least 5 years of practical experience in EMC testing.
  • Knowledge and experience of quality management systems and regulatory affairs.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English, with Dutch as a plus.
