About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Technical Author to join our Customer Documentation team at Thales. As a Senior Technical Author, you will be responsible for developing high-quality technical user documentation for our cutting-edge products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and research technical information to create accurate and concise documentation
  • Collaborate with specialists to ensure technical specifications are up-to-date and accurate
  • Develop and maintain Operator, Maintenance, and System Manuals
  • Contribute to new developments in publications, including animation, AR, VR, and video

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Technical background and/or affinity with technology
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Author or similar position
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into easily understandable information
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
