Job Title: Senior Head of Operations

Location: Hengelo, Netherlands

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Head of Operations to lead our Systems segment. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the segment's performance and ensuring the delivery of complex integrated fight solutions to our Naval customers around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Product Segment Manager in supervising projects and bids, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Monitor and report on the segment's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Lead the Systems Product Line Managers in the development of product strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals.
  • Coordinate the overall ramp-up plan for the segment, identifying issues and bottlenecks, and proposing action plans.
  • Support the projects by identifying weaknesses in our processes or tooling and proposing improvement actions with the Head of Department.
Requirements
  • High degree of resilience and persistence, with the ability to demonstrate leadership skills in line with Thales' Leadership model.
  • Highly accountable, both personally and as part of a team, with the ability to lead teams effectively.
  • Experience of working in a Prime Contractor domain, with a strong understanding of the systems and processes involved.
