About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Head of Operations Segment Fire Control to join our team at Thales. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the operations segment, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and bids.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the PSM in achieving the MYB and SBP targets, particularly the EBIT target, by closely monitoring EAC performance and proposing mitigations and compensations for any EAC increase.
  • Manage the R&O and track and coordinate action plans to mitigate risks and realize opportunities for projects and bids.
  • Monitor the solidity, actuality, and achievability of schedules in projects and bids, anticipate resource issues, and alert in a proactive manner.
  • Reinforce coordination between purchasing, supply chain, engineering, and finance in the execution of projects and delivery of products, ensuring alignment and updatability of relevant discipline tooling.
  • Coordinate the overall ramp-up plan within the segment, identify issues, bottlenecks, and propose action plans, ensuring the ramp-up of BBs supports the ramp-up.
  • Support the project team APAR Block2 in stabilizing the design and securing the handover to series production.
  • Support projects by identifying weaknesses in processes or tooling and proposing improvement actions with the HoD.
  • Support the PLM and product teams with cost reduction actions for Fire Control products.
  • Ensure coordination between the Segment and other Operation Departments, and manage Segment Fire Control assigned Inventory.
