About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Back-end Engineer to join our team at Pax8 EMEA. As a key member of our Product & Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and shaping the future of our cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge software solutions that drive business success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine methodologies, development procedures, and design processes
  • Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers to elevate the team's expertise
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform innovation and growth
Requirements
  • Substantial experience in software development with a focus on back-end engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of Java, Groovy, Kotlin, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Kafka, Kotest, JUnit, Mockito, AWS, and Github
  • Experience with VueJS, Python, ElasticSearch, Oauth, Domain Driven Design, Dynamo, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and ArgoCD is a plus
  • Effective technical leadership abilities and experience working in an agile team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Annual gross salary ranging between €60,000 up to €90,000 - depending on experience
