The Role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join our in-house legal team, focusing on litigation and pre-litigation matters related to regulatory, consumer affairs, platform regulations, content-related issues, and commercial/contractual disputes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive litigation strategy for regulatory, consumer affairs, platform regulations, content-related matters, and commercial/contractual disputes.
  • Advise management stakeholders on litigation risks and strategy.
  • Collaborate with outsourced legal counsel in various jurisdictions to manage litigation matters.
  • Work closely with business teams to identify and address relevant legal risks.
  • Develop processes to ensure legal compliance across the company.
  • Act as the legal point of contact for the sustainability team.

Requirements

  • Qualification in one bar association.
  • At least 7 years of experience in litigation, preferably in a law firm or as an in-house counsel.
  • Experience managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
  • Experience handling complex litigation and high-stakes disputes.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Platform-related litigation experience is a strong asset.
  • Ability to own legal issues across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Proactivity and attention to detail.
  • Passion for technology-driven businesses.
