Research Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Research Assistant to join our team at the University of Hong Kong (HKU).
About the Role:
- Assist Postdoctoral fellows and/or Project Principal Investigators in the overall management of the project.
- Conduct patient recruitment, data collection in face-to-face interviews (individual or focus group) and surveys.
- Prepare transcription and translation of audio-taped scripts.
- Manage and analyze data.
- Prepare reports and manuscripts.
- Handle inquiries from related parties.
- Assist in logistics arrangement for public engagement events and project coordination.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or above in healthcare-related or social sciences disciplines.
- Experience in conducting qualitative studies or mixed methods will be an advantage.
- Strong background in local and international research related applications and management systems will have an advantage.
- Excellent coordination, organization and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese).
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Attentive to details.
