Overview
Nutreco, a leading provider of innovative aquafeed solutions and animal nutrition, is seeking an experienced Global HSE Compliance Specialist to join its team. As a key member of the company's global Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in HSE, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a global environment. The role involves conducting audits, providing training and guidance, and implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk-based audits to identify areas of non-compliance and develop recommendations for improvement
- Provide guidance and training to employees on HSE policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with HSE standards
- Develop and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as HSE or Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a global environment
- Fluency in English; Spanish and Portuguese are a plus
What We Offer:
Nutreco offers a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
