About the Project

The Dutch industry is facing a significant challenge in finding qualified employees to keep up with digital and green transitions. To address this issue, the Smart Skills@Scale project has been established to optimize knowledge exchange within Smart Industry communities. This project aims to create a sustainably employable workforce by developing human-centric production systems, smart workplaces, jobs, and careers.

Your Role

We are seeking a PhD researcher to work on the intersection of science and practice, contributing to the understanding of how information exchange and absorptive capacity can be optimized within Smart Industry communities. You will conduct a systematic literature review, set up an intensive longitudinal study, and develop tools to provide actionable feedback and insights to Smart Industry communities.

Requirements

  • University Research Master's or MSc degree in business administration, organizational studies, psychology, or a related field
  • Excellent methodological and statistical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Interest in topics about interorganizational collaboration, collaborative innovation, and lifelong learning
