About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with our students, teachers, and parents to provide tailored support and guidance. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us create a safe and inclusive learning environment that supports child protection.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and Guide
    • Conduct thorough assessments and observations to identify areas of need
    • Work closely with teachers and parents to develop effective action plans
  • Support and Advise
    • Provide individualised support to students with social-emotional or learning difficulties
    • Collaborate with teachers to develop strategies for managing specific issues
    • Offer expert advice on education and care pathways
  • Prevent and Intervene
    • Design and implement proactive programmes to promote student well-being
    • Work closely with our internal teams to ensure seamless delivery
  • Navigate and Network
    • Maintain positive relationships with external partners to enhance our support services

Your Requirements

  • Qualifications and Experience
    • Postgraduate degree in Psychology (Clinical, Educational, or School focus)
    • BIG registration as a healthcare specialist (GZ-psychologist)
    • Proven experience in primary education with children aged 4-12
    • Solid understanding of diagnostic tools and treatment methods
    • Excellent communication and coaching skills
    • Ability to work flexibly and proactively
    • Fluency in English and Dutch (spoken and written)
    • Cultural competence and an internationally-minded attitude
  • Personal Qualities
    • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
    • Professionally developed with a commitment to ongoing learning
