About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Technical Department in Delft, the Netherlands. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the implementation of a new Maintenance Management System, enabling data-driven management decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize data analytics tools to identify trends, predict maintenance budgets, and optimize preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Improve our Preventive Maintenance System, enhancing reliability, efficiency, and safety across our fleet.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to onboard and onshore teams, ensuring adherence to maintenance protocols and standards.
  • Define critical equipment and strategic spares for the Allseas equipment.
  • Set up preventive maintenance schedules for critical equipment.
  • Ensure maintenance of equipment complies with legal requirements and safety standards issued by IMO, flag states, classification agencies, Allseas, or other relevant bodies.
  • Measure maintenance performance using Key Performance Indicators and analyze data as a steering tool for continuous improvement.
  • Identify new maintenance concepts and investigate their potential use.
  • Participate in risk workshops and lessons learnt initiatives.
  • Advise on inventory management and ensure adequate levels of correct parts are kept in stock.
Requirements
  • BSc/MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Technology, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in an offshore or marine environment.
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations of classification societies and flag states.
  • Demonstrable experience with reliability-centered maintenance and risk-based maintenance.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with the marine or offshore industry and ships' equipment.
  • Knowledge of and experience with ERP and Asset Management software.
  • Ample experience with using and setting up data analytics tools.
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel.
