About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our Technical Department in the Netherlands. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and sustainable operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to identify trends, predict maintenance budgets, and optimize preventive maintenance schedules;
  • Improve our Preventive Maintenance System, enhancing reliability, efficiency, and safety across our fleet;
  • Provide technical expertise and support to onboard and onshore teams, ensuring adherence to maintenance protocols and standards;
  • Define critical equipment and strategic spares for the Allseas equipment;
  • Set up preventive maintenance schedules for critical equipment;
  • Ascertain that maintenance of equipment complies with legal requirements and safety standards issued by IMO, flag states, classification agencies, Allseas or other relevant bodies;
  • Measure maintenance performance by using Key Performance Indicators: Analyze data as steering tool for continuous improvement;
  • Identify new maintenance concepts and investigate their potential use;
  • Participate in risk workshops (design review, FME(C)A);
  • Participate in lessons learnt and continuous improvement initiatives (RCA);
  • Advise on inventory management and ensure adequate levels of the correct parts kept in stock.

Requirements

  • BSc/MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Technology or equivalent;
  • Preferably a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in an offshore or marine environment;
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations of classification societies and flag states;
  • Demonstrable experience with reliability centered maintenance and risk-based maintenance;
  • Good computer skills;
  • Knowledge and experience with the marine or offshore industry and ships equipment;
  • Knowledge of and experience with ERP and Asset Management software;
  • Ample experience with using and set up of data analytics tools (business intelligence, dashboards);
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
  • Willingness to travel.
