About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Certification Documentation Specialist to join our team at Yacht. As a key member of our Global Engines department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the compliance of our products with global emission standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain certification documentation related to AECD, AES, and OBD.
- Collaborate with technical experts to discuss and draft the content of emissions and OBD documentation.
- Review and track changes in documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee the editing, reviewing, and approval process of the documentation.
Technical Expertise
- Analyze the technical implementation of emission control systems to identify AECDs.
- Provide guidance to the development team to ensure that the emission control systems meet legal AECD requirements.
Process Improvement
- Create and maintain engine test standards related to emission testing.
- Identify and implement process improvements in documentation practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with (heavy duty diesel) engines and aftertreatment; calibration and/or On-Board Diagnostics background.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills are mandatory.
- Advanced English skills are mandatory.
- Knowledge in using DITA and associated documentation tools.
- Structured working approach combined with pleasure to work in teams.
- Challenged by securing technical knowledge into documentation.
- Pro-active attitude and the ability to work with many different people and organizations.
Employment Conditions
- 12 times a monthly salary based on experience (Up to: €6200 gross per month).
- 8.33% holiday pay calculated over 12 monthly salaries.
Contract Form
- Minimum one-year contract, with the aim of transitioning to an indefinite contract.
- You will always receive 100% of your salary during your employment contract.
Secondary Conditions
- Pension scheme (pension accrual from day 1).
- Annual net €3500,- training budget.
- Net €750,- to set up your home workplace.
- The possibility of a Yacht bonus or, if applicable to our client, a year-end bonus or 13th-month payment.
- Opportunity for referral bonuses.
- 25 vacation days per year based on 40 hours.
- Travel expense reimbursement.
- Good and personal guidance with one contact person from Yacht, to be filled in according to your preferences.
