Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in the Netherlands. As a key player in developing and maintaining our domain name system, dynamic host configuration protocol, and IP address management services across our global data centers, you will be responsible for ensuring the uptime, performance, and security of our systems, which are essential for serving our customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver standard, self-service infrastructure services to the Global IT consumers together with your squad.
  • Maintain the DDI services and develop self-service capabilities for our internal consumers.
  • Monitor, risk, incident, and change management of our appliances and services.
  • Operational management of DNS infra, including support migrations, LCM, and incident handling.
  • Improve monitoring and alerting of our services.
  • Consultancy for internet network implementations and domain management.
  • Keep squad members up-to-date on local developments, improvements, and alerts.
  • Participate in incidents, changes, and improvements for the Global Datacenters.

Requirements

  • Expertise in DNS, DHCP, and IP address management, with significant experience with Infoblox infrastructure.
  • Experience in secure infrastructures and event monitoring, with proficiency in creating and maintaining secure network environments.
  • Automation and programming skills, with proficiency in Python and experience with configuration tools like Ansible or Terraform.
  • Network security experience, with understanding of anti-distributed denial of service implementations and network security.
  • IP engineering with network security focus, with solid understanding of network security principles.
  • Agile and Dev Ops knowledge, with familiarity with agile practices and the Dev Ops way of working.
  • Scrum methodology, with working-level knowledge of Scrum practices.

What We Offer

  • Initial 12-18 month contract assignment, after which you'll become an internal employee with ING.
  • Hybrid working, 36 hour work week.
  • Salary range: €4,240.00 - €5,500.00 gross per month (depending on experience).
  • Holiday payments and 13th month.
  • Full pension according to Dutch temp labor CLA.
