About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Specialist to join our team at Knab. As a Network Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the core network infrastructure of the bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex networks, including routing and switching protocols.
  • Develop and maintain network policies and routing setup.
  • Analyze problems and determine solutions.
  • Implement solutions, including consulting with suppliers as needed.
  • Optimize Continuous Delivery and improve the team as a whole.

About the Team

The core network team is part of the IT Functions & Foundations (ITFF) stream and focuses on developing and maintaining the core network infrastructure of the bank. The team works closely with our Cloud Platform team to maintain our general infrastructure.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience as a network specialist.
  • Demonstrable experience with routing and switching protocols like BGP, OSPF, HSRP, and MPLS.
  • Experience with VRF, routing policies, filtering, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with next-generation firewalls up to layer 7.
  • Ability to design complex networks and guide staff engineers on deployment.
  • Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Python, and AzureDevOps.
