Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Professional to join our team at the Hyatt Regency Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel maintenance operations and be able to keep track of and report on activity.

Job Description

This role will involve carrying out and completing all maintenance works per the established schedule, ensuring high quality of finishing work, paying particular attention to guest-related jobs. Additionally, the successful candidate will perform repairs of all furniture and furnishings, fabricate items like doors, frames, tables, benches, etc., to an acceptable standard, and carry out all painting-related maintenance related to external and internal walls and all furniture, furnishings, equipment, or any other products.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience as an Engineer/Maintenance Technician, preferably in the hospitality industry;
  • Experience with hotel maintenance operations;
  • Knowledge of hotel engineering routines, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems;
  • A relevant Diploma related to Engineering and Maintenance;
  • Good language and communication skills in English and, preferably, in Dutch as well;
  • Legally allowed to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or a valid work permit for the country (we do not assist with Visa/permit applications).

Estimated Salary

€45,000 - €55,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus benefits.
