Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations Coordinator to join our team at Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's engineering and maintenance activities.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of leadership experience within a technical department, preferably in a 5-star hotel environment. You will be responsible for managing maintenance contacts with external companies, solving malfunctions, and carrying out repairs and maintenance on various installations and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve the overall efficiency of our maintenance operations;
  • Manage work schedules, assign tasks, and provide instructions to team members as needed;
  • Solve complex problems and troubleshoot issues related to lifts, air conditioning, refrigeration, and other technical systems;
  • Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs and maintenance;
  • Conduct regular inspections and checks to identify potential issues and prevent downtime;
  • Collaborate with the maintenance manager to develop and implement preventative maintenance plans;
  • Assist in planning and executing new projects, renovations, and extensions;
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and industry standards;
Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant field (technical education);
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in a technical department;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism;
  • Technical knowledge of various installations and maintenance practices;
  • Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus;
