We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Restaurant & Bar Management Trainee to join our team at Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurants, bars, and in-room dining services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the daily operations of the Food and Beverage department, including managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Work collaboratively with the Restaurant & Bar Manager and other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement new ideas and initiatives to improve the overall guest experience and increase revenue.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as food safety, customer service, and hospitality management.
- Currently studying towards a degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Competitive trainee allowance of €750 per month, including study and travel allowance.
