Job Title: Lead Communications Specialist

TenneT is a leading European grid operator, committed to providing a secure and reliable supply of electricity 24/7. We're seeking a seasoned communications professional to lead our corporate communications efforts, driving strategic initiatives and fostering collaboration within and beyond our Public Affairs and Communications Unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies, aligning with TenneT's strategy and goals.
  • Lead the creation and execution of company positioning on key topics, including frame development and agenda setting.
  • Oversee the brand strategy, ensuring a consistent and impactful corporate identity.
  • Direct the creation of storylines, ensuring quarterly updates and high-quality content.
  • Advise PUC leaders, senior leadership, and C-suite executives on communication, positioning, and brand identity strategies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies in corporate environments.
  • Excellent communicator and listener, with strong writing and storytelling skills.
  • Leadership experience, with a proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performance teams.
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for continuous learning.
