About the Job
Vestas is the largest renewable energy solutions provider in the world, and we're looking for a skilled Service Technician to join our team in the Netherlands. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of wind turbines, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a detailed knowledge of our wind turbines and their electrical and mechanical systems.
- Perform daily maintenance and field service tasks, including electrical and mechanical operations.
- Cover installation activities, usage of our systems like Condition Monitoring / Remote Control, and create follow-up orders.
- Work with high voltage and ensure that service targets are met while maintaining the highest safety and environmental standards.
- Carry out periodic service inspections and component replacement (electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic) and troubleshooting on the systems.
Requirements
- Experience or degree in electricity or mechanics, with a willingness to develop skills in these areas.
- Hydraulic experience is a plus.
- Professional experience in this field.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Very good knowledge of English and nice to speak Dutch.
- Driver's license class B.
