We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Control Lead to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our Supply Chain Operations team, you will be responsible for driving process improvements, standardizing inventory control processes, and collaborating with global teams to achieve inventory targets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement inventory management performance standards, policies, and process improvements.
- Lead projects to standardize inventory control processes across production sites and collaborate with global teams to achieve inventory targets.
- Participate in the inventory council and collaborate with the Global Inventory Manager to drive inventory optimization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain close relationships with Finance, Global Supply Chain, Procurement, Service, and IT partners to support and implement process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations, preferably in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
- 1-2 years of experience in Inventory Management from a Finance or Supply Chain perspective.
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures and ERP systems, preferably QAD.
