About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team at Hyatt Regency Amsterdam. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay with us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise, coach, and train the Front Office team to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our guests.
  • Operational Management: Ensure that all Front Office operations are running smoothly and efficiently, including cash handling, room status management, and guest communication.
  • Guest Service: Analyze and resolve guest complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that our guests feel valued and respected.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain excellent communication with the Housekeeping department, relaying information on guest requests and preferences.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare schedules, wages, and attendance lists, as well as coordinate reports from guests regarding rooms requiring maintenance.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • At Least 2 Years of Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Front Office or similar role, with a strong background in leadership and operations.
  • Relevant Qualifications: A relevant degree in Hospitality or Tourism Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Language Skills: Excellent language skills in English and Dutch, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Legally Allowed to Work in the Netherlands: A valid work permit for the Netherlands, or an EU/EEA passport.
