Our team at Vattenfall Netherlands is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join their dynamic team in Amsterdam. As a key member of the procurement team, you will play a crucial role in sourcing materials, goods, and services for our Wind Business Area and indirect procurement needs.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing all materials, goods, and services through competitive processes to ensure the best value for money
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to identify direct and indirect material requirements and develop tender documentation
  • Investigating markets for potential suppliers and ensuring a selection of sources to fulfill business demands
  • Serving as a point of contact for requestors within the business units and Group Staff Functions
  • Leading and participating in sourcing projects, evaluating quotations, and negotiating conditions
  • Ensuring compliance throughout the process and continuously improving procurement practices

Requirements:

  • At least two years of experience in a procurement position, preferably as a tactical buyer
  • Completion of MBO-4 with a Nevi education or similar in a technical or business administration area
  • Strong English and German language capabilities, both spoken and written
  • Good understanding of people and culture in working across multiple business functions
  • Interest in technology, innovation, sustainability, and digitalization
  • Strong SAP Knowledge (MM module) or willingness to learn

  • A competitive base salary ranging from €3,500 to €4,800 per month, based on your education and relevant work experience
