Overview

We are looking for a talented Application Innovation Specialist to enhance our Digital Natives Tech Unit within the EMEA region. In this engaging position, you will serve as a key enabler, assisting innovative startups and Digital Natives in harnessing the full potential of Azure, with a focus on application development, PaaS, and DevOps methodologies.

Your expertise will be crucial in guiding the most pioneering startups and unicorns in crafting the next generation of SaaS solutions through Azure's PaaS offerings. As the technical authority on application innovation and development, your duties will encompass delivering impactful presentations, creating engaging demonstrations, and facilitating proofs of concept that promote the adoption of our solutions.

Your role is vital in nurturing customer relationships, influencing critical decision-makers, and accelerating application innovation by showcasing how our technology can resolve real business challenges.

With a deep understanding of the Azure platform and the application development ecosystem, you will convey complex concepts to diverse audiences, including technical peers and senior executives, ensuring they appreciate the strategic significance of Azure PaaS in driving both business and technological advancement.

Working closely with our sales and partner networks, you will develop and execute strategies to uncover new opportunities, driving incremental sales and enhancing customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in technical pre-sales or consulting roles

• Background in application innovation and development

• Experience collaborating with Digital Natives or startups.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert technical advice on Azure application innovation, encompassing PaaS, DevOps, and advanced coding techniques.
  • Assisting clients with application modernization strategies and the technical architecture necessary for implementing comprehensive Azure solutions, utilizing best practices.
  • Demonstrating extensive knowledge of orchestration tools such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), aiding clients in managing, scaling, and deploying containerized applications seamlessly.
  • Designing solutions that effectively support multitenancy, ensuring optimized resource utilization and cost efficiency while maintaining isolation and security between tenants.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to our key clients, guiding them in integrating Azure app development services into their overall cloud strategy, and recommending migration paths and architectures that incorporate Azure PaaS services.
  • Conducting architectural design sessions to create implementation plans aligned with client business objectives and their technical infrastructure.
  • Guiding clients through complex scenarios involving hybrid and multi-cloud container deployments, ensuring smooth integration and management across various platforms while addressing a range of readiness challenges including security, performance, scalability, and intellectual property considerations.
  • Collaborating with clients and working alongside account and partner teams to drive new opportunities, resolve technical challenges, and contribute strategies to expedite deal closure.
  • Staying updated on advancements and trends in cloud application development to ensure our team and solutions remain at the forefront of the industry.
  • Influencing Azure application innovation strategy by advocating for client needs and requirements.
  • Serving as an Azure Platform advocate, inspiring clients, partners, and the broader community, and fostering developer communities through various outreach initiatives.
