About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at ABN AMRO. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing ETL data pipelines that consume data from multiple sources, apply necessary transformations, and transfer the data to target systems.

You will be responsible for developing and reviewing software solutions that are deployed in the Azure Cloud using a variety of technologies such as ADLS, ADF, Databricks, Azure Functions, and Airflow. You will work closely with our Agile/Scrum DevOps team to ensure the successful development, management, and maintenance of functionalities in the Credit Data Management area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement ETL data pipelines using Azure technologies
  • Develop and review software solutions deployed in the Azure Cloud
  • Work closely with the Agile/Scrum DevOps team to ensure successful development and maintenance of functionalities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience working with Azure
  • Experience with Python and willingness to learn other programming languages
  • Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Azure DevOps
  • Experience with either Azure Data Factory or Airflow
  • Knowledge of change and incident management
  • English proficiency
  • Working experience with Scrum/Agile principles
  • Good communication skills
