About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at ABN AMRO. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ETL data pipelines that consume data from multiple sources, apply necessary transformations, and transfer the data to target systems.

You will work with a variety of technologies such as ADLS, ADF, Databricks, Azure Functions, and Airflow to develop and review software solutions deployed in the Azure Cloud. Your end-to-end responsibility will include developing, managing, and maintaining functionalities in the Credit Data Management area, prioritized by the Product Owner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement ETL data pipelines using ADLS, ADF, Databricks, Azure Functions, and Airflow.
  • Develop and review software solutions deployed in the Azure Cloud.
  • Manage and maintain functionalities in the Credit Data Management area.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to prioritize and deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience working with Azure.
  • Experience with Python and willingness to learn other programming languages.
  • Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure Devops.
  • Experience with either Azure Data factory or Airflow. Knowledge on streaming technologies is highly desirable.
  • Experience with deploying and creating Azure infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of change and incident management for e.g. in Servicenow.
  • English proficiency.
  • Working experience with Scrum/Agile principles.
  • Good communicator.
