Job Title: Senior Digital Design Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Design Engineer to join our team at Rambus. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing next-generation Root-of-Trust products.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with architects to develop and implement secure hardware designs.
  • Architect and develop high-performance CPU architectures and designs.
  • Work closely with the Software Team, Product Managers, and Security experts to define and develop next-generation security products.
  • Drive improvement in product quality and safety.
  • Provide expert support to customers and ensure delivered products meet Rambus quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

Experience/Skills

  • BS/MS degree in electrical or computer engineering required.
  • Work experience in digital design, either as a hardware engineer or test engineer.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Verilog/(or VHDL) and digital design.
  • Expertise in secure hardware design, cryptographic algorithms, and side-channel attacks is beneficial.
  • Experience with modern SoC design methodologies and architectures, low-power design techniques, and clock and reset domain crossing techniques is advantageous.

Tools/Technologies

  • Verilog (or VHDL), SystemVerilog, Perl, shell scripting, Python, Sage, Tcl, Xilinx Vivado, Unix, Linux, front-end ASIC design tools, and ASIC simulation/verification tools.
