Job Title: Senior Digital Design Engineer

Rambus is seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing next-generation Root-of-Trust products.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with architects to learn and develop the Crypto-Manager Root-of-Trust product.
  • Architect and develop the next generation Root-of-Trust product.
  • Work with the Software Team, Product Managers, Security experts, and other stakeholders to define the next generation security products.
  • Drive improvement in product quality and safety.
  • Provide expert support for customers.
  • Ensure the delivered product and documentation meet Rambus quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
  • BS/MS degree in electrical or computer engineering required.
  • Work experience in digital design as a hardware engineer or test engineer.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Verilog/(or VHDL) and digital design.
  • Expertise in secure hardware design, cryptographic algorithms, and side-channel attacks is beneficial.
  • Experience with high-performance CPU architecture and design, modern SoC design methodologies, and low-power design techniques is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of DFT, especially memory testing and characterization, and/or Logic BIST methodologies is desirable.
  • Ability to work with technical writers in the creation of technical documentation.
Tools and Technologies
  • Verilog (or VHDL), SystemVerilog, Perl, shell scripting, Python, Sage, Tcl, Xilinx Vivado, Unix, Linux, front-end ASIC design tools, and ASIC simulation/verification tools.
