About the Role
As a Regulatory Model Management Specialist at ABN AMRO Bank, you will play a crucial role in translating the bank's business strategy into the model landscape. You will provide expert advice on the design, implementation, and oversight of the model landscape, ensuring it aligns with current regulatory requirements and future Basel IV standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the bank's regulatory models, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement model landscape solutions that meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert advice on model risk management, including impact assessments of changes in capital requirements and risk-weighted assets.
- Participate in quality assurance assessments of model developments and monitoring projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including the DNB and ECB, to ensure regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in credit risk management, policy, and framework development or regulatory reporting.
- Academic education in a relevant field, such as econometrics, mathematics, actuarial studies, risk management, or finance.
- Exceptional understanding of regulatory requirements regarding capital requirements for credit risk, including IRB and SA.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Pro-active and collaborative attitude, with a strong team player profile.
