Lightspeed is seeking a skilled Content Specialist to join our dynamic in-house marketing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality content that supports our go-to-market strategy and multichannel marketing activations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a content calendar to support marketing and PR needs
- Localise material from English to Dutch and vice versa
- Develop a good knowledge of our key products, customers and businesses, and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Write and manage content on our website, ensuring it follows style guidelines and making recommendations for improvements
- Optimise content performance with guidance from acquisitions and marketing leads
- Stay up to date on retail industry news and trends
- 1-3 years of experience in SAAS marketing, copywriting or journalism
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent people skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to take complex concepts and explain them simply and briefly
- Outstanding Dutch and English writing skills and incredible attention to detail
- Ability to poke holes in copy—including your own—and iterate quickly
- Knowledge of social media platforms
- Familiarity with content management systems like Wordpress
- A passion for retail or a willingness to learn more
- Ability to work remotely or in one of the Lightspeed offices
- Ability to do your job in a truly flexible environment
- Work in a team big enough for growth but lean enough to make a real impact
