Systems engineering is een essentieel onderdeel van ons kwaliteitsmanagementsysteem, vooral nu we onze ontwerpprocessen verder digitaliseren. Als lead systems architect ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het creëren van een solide basis, zodat projectteams informatie efficiënt kunnen vastleggen en overdragen. Tevens geef je richting aan goed geïntegreerde werkprocessen.

Jouw rol als Lead Systems Architect

Denk aan projecten zoals de renovatie van belangrijke infrastructuren of de ontwikkeling van nieuwe verbindingen. Je speelt een cruciale rol in projecten die gericht zijn op circulair bouwen, energietransitie, klimaatadaptatie en het bevorderen van biodiversiteit en veiligheid.

Of het nu gaat om planstudies, contractvorming, ontwerp of aanbesteding: jij organiseert het proces van systems engineering op een efficiënte en effectieve manier. Dit kan onder andere inhouden dat je een projectstructuur ontwikkelt, eisen en functies beschrijft, eisen afleidt, KES/SYS-vraagspecificaties opstelt, en een verificatie- en validatiestrategie uitwerkt. Je hebt een centrale rol in het project, waarbij je zorgt voor een gestructureerd ontwerp dat verschillende disciplines, zoals techniek, contracten en milieu, met elkaar verbindt.

In grote projectteams, variërend van 10 tot soms wel 200 professionals, inspireer jij je collega's om op een uniforme manier volgens het managementplan te werken. Onze opdrachten zijn divers, wat je de kans biedt om te werken aan projecten die aansluiten bij jouw ambities.

Wat deze functie bijzonder maakt, is dat je door middel van kennisontwikkeling en opleiding junior collega's binnen de adviesgroep helpt om te groeien in hun vakgebied. Je maakt deel uit van de kennisgroep systems engineering, waar je samenwerkt met ervaren collega's aan de verdere ontwikkeling van processen en tools voor systems engineering binnen ons ingenieursbureau.

Wat wij van jou verwachten

Je bent in staat om verbinding te creëren binnen grote projectteams en samen via gestructureerde processen impact te maken voor een duurzamere leefomgeving. Je hebt een goed begrip van de projectdoelen en weet snel de juiste informatiebronnen te identificeren. Met overtuigingskracht weet je systems engineering effectief te integreren in de projectorganisatie en zowel collega's als opdrachtgevers hierin mee te nemen. Verder beschik je over:

  • Een hbo- of wo-diploma in bijvoorbeeld civiele techniek, civiele engineering en management of industriële engineering en management.
  • Minimaal 8 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie en projecten.
  • Uitgebreide kennis van contracten.
  • Bij voorkeur uitgebreide kennis van BIM-modellering.
