Technology Harmonisation Specialist

As a key member of the HE Space team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Technology Harmonisation process. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities- Support Harmonisation Cycles: Collaborate with the ESA Technology Harmonisation Office to distribute documentation, collect inputs, and provide consolidated results.
- Consolidate Harmonisation Documents: Engage in editorial tasks to prepare final THDs and RMs, including correcting graphs, transferring content, and creating cover pages.
- Support Harmonisation Work Plan: Liaise with ESA representatives to identify required personnel, define Harmonisation scope, and prepare draft Work Plans.
- Promote Harmonisation Information: Circulate Harmonisation documentation, disseminate products, and maintain public and internal Harmonisation websites.
- Support Coordination of Harmonisation Topics: Assist in elaborating Harmonisation documents, running kick-off meetings, and providing content support.
- Support Entity Capability Mapping Exercise: Prepare contact distribution lists, review and clean lists, and update distribution lists throughout the Harmonisation Cycle.
- General Support to Harmonisation: Support preparation of Mapping Meetings, Roadmap Meetings, and THAG sessions, and compare Harmonisation Roadmaps with ESA Technology Workplans.
Qualifications
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
- Masters in Aerospace engineering or a relevant discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in Space Systems Engineering.
- Experience with IT tools for online surveys, document storing, and management tools, and Python/scripting to automate tasks.
- Experience in coordinating consultations and online surveys.
- Familiarity and experience in the R&D area and technology development processes, particularly in the space sector.
- Knowledge of Programme/Project management and controlling methods and tools.
- Autonomy, authority, and ability to interface with ESA staff at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and synthesise complex information.
- Good verbal and written communications.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
