About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead to join our team at EvidenceHunt, a cutting-edge AI-powered research platform. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in driving technology innovation and shaping the future of medical research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of our technology strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and growth trajectory.
  • Hands-on involvement in full-stack development, focusing on Node.js, Elasticsearch, and multi-tenancy architecture with relational databases.
  • Supervise Python integrations (Vertex AI) for LLM deployment in RAG pipelines and oversee Vue.js frontend development.
  • Work closely with the co-founding team to shape the company culture and hire a high-performing engineering team.
  • Lead architectural decisions for robust, scalable solutions using Node.js, Elasticsearch, Python, and GCP (Serverless).
  • Drive projects from conceptualization to deployment, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of full-stack development experience (Node.js, Elasticsearch, Python) with a proven track record in fast-paced, rapid growth environments.
  • Experience building, nurturing, and scaling teams and technology platforms in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong architectural and infrastructure knowledge, with a focus on cloud-native and serverless solutions.
  • Previous experience as lead developer, or engineering manager, preferably in a tech-driven startup.
  • Deep understanding of agile development, API-first architecture, and DevOps practices.
  • Located near Amsterdam, with the ability to work in a hybrid setup.
