The Role

We are looking for an experienced Country Manager to lead our efforts in Italy, working closely with our internal teams to develop and implement strategies that drive business growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Italian market and regulatory landscape, as well as excellent stakeholder management skills.

  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and expansion in Italy
  • Represent FlatexDEGIRO in Italy, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, brokers, and local communities
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and their impact on the company and its business
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with local communities, banks, and brokers
  • Plan and participate in market/community events and business development activities to expand and strengthen the company's reputation in the market
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 10-15 years of experience in the Italian financial industry, preferably in online retail brokerage or retail banking
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, with a Master's degree being an advantage
  • Fluent English and Italian language skills
  • Knowledge of Italian regulatory financial law and financial markets
