Crypto Trading Quantitative Specialist
Our client is a pioneering startup headquartered in Amsterdam, developing a groundbreaking platform for trading derivatives and financial products based on cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. The goal of this platform is to become the trusted hub for crypto financial products, comparable to leading stock exchanges.
As the Quantitative Risk Analyst, you will be part of this pioneering team, focusing on hands-on quantitative research and analysis. Your responsibilities will include evaluating financial products, assessing market risks, and supporting strategic decisions to drive the company's success.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quantitative risk analysis for financial products, particularly derivatives (options, futures, etc.).
- Research risks associated with new products, partners, and markets.
- Evaluate and analyze existing financial products in the market for insights on performance and potential risks.
- Build and work with datasets, writing Python or SQL scripts as needed.
- Communicate findings effectively to business stakeholders in a clear, data-driven manner.
About You:
- Experience: At least 7 years of experience in risk analysis, preferably 10+, with strong expertise in financial markets and trading.
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of derivatives, financial products, and risk evaluation methodologies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and SQL (C++ is a plus).
- Industry Background: Experience in asset management, trading firms, or investment companies is highly desirable.
- Education: A master's degree in a STEM-related field (economics, mathematics, finance, etc.) is preferred.
