The RoleWe are seeking a Product Stewardship Representative to lead EMEA Product Stewardship efforts for the CASE business and provide support for other global market segments. This role involves developing/maintaining relationships with Strategic Business Unit (SBU) key persons, Marketing, and Technology Management teams. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive Regulatory support, insights, threats/opportunities, and recommendations.
This position requires a deep understanding of the regulatory space relevant to the market segments and Eastman's product offerings. The ideal candidate will have experience in PSRA, technical expertise in the chemical industry, and project management skills. Strong communication, teamwork, and decision-making abilities are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities- Regulatory Insights: Collaborate with global regulatory functions and regional experts to understand current and changing regulations impacting the relevant market and product lines.
- Business Relationship Management: Build close relationships with CASE representatives, business, and technology personnel to ensure alignment and regular communication on agreed needs, priorities, and actions.
- Project Management and Execution: Develop and facilitate global registrations, product regulatory clearances, third-party certifications, and implementation of strategy plans.
The successful candidate will work closely with SBU's Product, Marketing, and Technology Managers, Global Regulatory Experts, and Regional PSRA Personnel. This role offers opportunities for professional growth, including role rotations and participation in industry sector groups.
Requirements- Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, polymer science, biology, or related technical degree required.
- 3+ years of experience in PSRA required and technical experience in the chemical industry preferred.
- Experience in the coatings and inks industry preferred.
- Proven track record in project management.
Eastman offers a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, based on qualifications and location.
