Product Stewardship Lead

Eastman, a global leader in specialty materials, is seeking a skilled Product Stewardship Representative to join its team. As a Product Stewardship Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of safety and sustainability within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:Regulatory Insights: Collaborate with global regulatory functions and regional experts to stay up-to-date on current and emerging regulations impacting the CASE business. Ensure continued compliance with changing regulations and develop strategies to address potential risks.
Business Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with CASE representatives, business personnel, and technology managers to ensure alignment and regular communication on agreed needs, priorities, and actions.
Project Management and Execution: Develop and facilitate global registrations, product regulatory clearances, and third-party certifications by working closely with SBU Product, Marketing, and Technology Managers, Global Regulatory Experts, and Regional PSRA Personnel.
Advocacy: Initiate, drive, and execute advocacy strategies to defend existing products and market access, influence the outcome of potential new legislation, and promote Eastman's interests.
Customer/Value Chain Inquiries and Communication: Facilitate external communication of regulatory topics through creation and distribution of responses to customer inquiries, development of clear customer communication strategies, and representation of Eastman as a regulatory expert in customer, supplier, and end-user meetings.
Qualifications:- Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, polymer science, biology, or related technical degree required
- 3+ years of experience in PSRA required, with technical experience in the chemical industry preferred
- Experience in the coatings and inks industry preferred
- Proven track record in project management
