Regulatory Reporting Process Improvement Intern

We are seeking a motivated intern to contribute to the enhancement of our regulatory reporting processes at ABN AMRO. As a key player in our Finance function, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our top professionals and gain valuable work experience.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for improving the quality of our output and the reporting process. This will involve working on several ongoing internal initiatives, including the development of a dashboard to track KPIs and improvements, and the creation of a skills matrix to enhance team member skills.
Other initiatives may include:
- Heatmap Development: Design and implement a dashboard to provide an overview of all reports within the team and track key performance indicators (KPIs), improvements, and areas for improvement.
- Skills Matrix Creation: Determine relevant skills tracks and provide a curriculum for all team members to develop essential skills.
- Manual Intervention Reduction: Develop a dashboard to track the degree of manual intervention in reports and brainstorm ways to minimize them.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Provide, receive, and implement feedback to enhance relationships with key stakeholders.
- Capacity Planning: Investigate the optimal assignment of reports within the team, aiming to redistribute the workload more evenly.

The Finance function at ABN AMRO is responsible for regulatory reporting, a key focus area for the bank due to increasing regulatory requirements. Effective communication with internal stakeholders, such as Risk Management and business lines, is essential.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- To be a HBO or WO student in the Netherlands.
- To have an affinity with Power BI.
- To be able to start as soon as possible.
- To be registered at the college/university for the entire duration of the internship.
- To be available full-time (32 to 40 hours per week) for a minimum of 4 months.
