About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Electrical Engineer to join our team at Carbyon. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing our DAC-system electrically.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems and components for various prototyping and product design applications.
  • Develop schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Set up a way of working for the electrical domain, including the selection of tooling.
  • Ensure designs meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct FMEA to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Lead and coordinate engineering projects from concept to industrialization.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, control engineers, and project managers.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Conduct tests to evaluate the performance and reliability of electrical systems and components.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Act as the expert in your field across the engineering team.
  • Mentor junior team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5-10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in electrical development of small and large-scale industrial projects.
  • Proficiency in design and development of modular electrical power systems for industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards, with attention to safe operations and product safety.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills while fostering a collaborative and innovative engineering environment.
  • Fluency in English, both speaking and writing.
