Position Overview

As an Electrical Designer at Trinamics Beheer B.V., you will play a crucial role in advancing the capabilities of our Innovation Engineering team, leveraging your expertise in the mechatronics sector.

Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary project team, which includes highly skilled professionals from both the Innovation Engineering division and our clients. You will engage in the design, execution, testing, and integration of electrical components for sophisticated mechatronic systems. Your contributions will be vital in addressing essential aspects of complex mechatronic systems, including advanced motion control and precise measurement techniques, thereby enhancing the overall electrical architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to the electrical architecture of modules and subassemblies.
  • Designing and documenting electrical modules and subassemblies, which encompasses E-cabinet design, cabling, interfacing, and connectors.
  • Executing tasks in compliance with healthcare electrical standards such as IEC-60601 and ISO 13485.

You will be an integral part of the Mechatronics & Manufacturing Systems department within the Innovation Engineering team, which is dedicated to the specification, design, and realization of state-of-the-art mechatronic solutions. Your prospective group will focus on the electrical and software control elements of these innovative products.

The Innovation Engineering team utilizes a broad spectrum of resources and expertise to support our clients in efficiently bringing their innovations to market. Our pragmatic technology experts and consultants draw upon extensive experience across various industries, research sectors, and external organizations. Each day presents unique challenges as we tackle diverse projects.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2 to 5 years of professional experience, ideally in a high-tech environment.
  • A proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • A customer-focused mindset.
  • Capability to develop work breakdown structures and manage your own planning.
  • Technical knowledge and experience in electrical cabinet design and interfacing with equipment or machinery.
  • Familiarity with electrical components used in industrial automation.
  • Understanding of motion control solutions, particularly servo technology.
  • Ability to create detailed wiring diagrams for cabling, field boxes, and electrical cabinets.
  • Experience in developing test specifications and conducting tests.
  • Knowledge of CE, EMC, and UL regulations.
  • Proficiency in using EPlan software.
