Job Summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and operation of our electrical systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and infrastructure to prevent downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Perform electrical audits, tests, and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure the distribution of structured cabling, audio-visual distribution, and UPS sources.
  • Develop and implement electrical projects, including design, cost estimates, planning, execution, and handover.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international legislation and company rules and regulations.
  • Manage and maintain electrical documentation, including drawings, specifications, operating instructions, inspections, certification, and maintenance records.
  • Support internal and external audits to ensure the removal of defects and close out actions related to electrical systems.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma or equivalent experience in electrical or energy technology.
  • Strong business digital literacy, MS Office package, and AutoCAD.
  • Proficient Dutch and English communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to perform electrical audits, tests, read results, and diagnose and repair electrical problems.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with SCIOS scope 8, 9, 10, and 12, and/or possession of certificates.
  • Experience with Installation Responsibility and hold an IV/WV certificate.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to work and influence all levels of management.
  • Hands-on facilities operational skills.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of regulations, codes, standards, and safety, including NEN 1010 and NEN 3140.
