eDiscovery Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled eDiscovery Assistant to join our team at the International Criminal Court. As a key member of the Evidence and Discovery Management Unit, you will play a critical role in supporting the unified investigation and prosecution teams.

• Assist in the identification, preservation, and collection of electronic evidence in accordance with established procedures and best practices.
• Perform data processing, search, and production tasks using eDiscovery software, such as data filtering, deduplication, deNISTing, and keyword searching.
• Assist in the review, analysis, and disclosure of all-source electronic evidence to identify, collate, and/or disclose relevant information.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of eDiscovery-related activities in the Evidence Lifecycle Management System (ELMS) and provide regular status updates to team members and other stakeholders.
• Support the development of custom eDiscovery applications and eDiscovery workflows, including disclosures, as required.

• Diploma of Secondary education.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in handling large quantities of documentary and/or evidentiary materials in a legal, archival, information, or evidence management role.
• Relevant experience in a legal environment is desirable.
• Demonstrated experience with an electronic Evidence Lifecycle Management System is required.
• Knowledge of data filtering, de-duplication, and keyword searching is required, as well as advanced search techniques such as Boolean logic and proximity searching.
• Knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and eDiscovery best-practices is required.
• Experience using eDiscovery software such as Relativity, Nuix, or similar tools is required.
