Transaction Monitoring Specialist Intern

Worldline is a leading digital payments company that provides trusted infrastructure for millions of people and businesses worldwide. As a Transaction Monitoring Specialist Intern, you will play a critical role in protecting Worldline from financial and reputational losses incurred by financial crimes.
The OpportunityOur Transaction Monitoring team is responsible for assessing, controlling, and mitigating risks related to Anti-Financial Crime. You will partner with external agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AML transaction monitoring and experience working with financial institutions.
About the TeamOur team is responsible for covering Worldline's Anti-Money Laundering Transaction Monitoring programs. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for reviewing alerts, identifying reportable transactions, and ensuring timely and accurate filing of all required reports.
Key Responsibilities- Reviewing alerts through the AML software and identifying reportable transactions
- Ensuring timely and accurate filing of all required reports
- Identifying patterns and trends consistent with money laundering and terrorist financing
- Flagging suspicious activities detected
- Keeping accurate records and logging all work
- Escalating issues as appropriate for advanced investigation and analysis
- Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent
- AML monitoring knowledge and/or experience
- Knowledge of BSA, AML, USA Patriot Act, OFAC, PSDII, and other relevant regulations
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
