Accountant Lead, Close and Consolidations

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced accountant to lead close and consolidations activities within the Geo for specific areas within the balance sheet and profit & loss. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, and 6+ years of experience in finance or accounting. Technical accounting knowledge and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification are preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Support EMEA's S4 implementation by participating in meetings, speaking up, UAT testing, balance sheet clean-up prior to conversion, etc.
  • Support month-end close accounting process in the Close & Consolidations team across consolidations, cash/bank, intercompany, and FX/VAT.
  • Collaborate with business partners to review/analyze monthly actual results against forecast.
  • Work with 3rd party outsourcing company to support R2R transactional work and provide support/resolve issues as they arise.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in finance or accounting.
  • Technical accounting knowledge.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred.
