Senior Financial Administrator

PPHE Hotel Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Administrator to join their Corporate Office team. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure full compliance with corporate policies and procedures, as well as recognized international and local accounting standards.
  • Perform and supervise hotel internal audit checks, including income audit and cashiering.
  • Ensure accurate banking of cash and reconciliation with appropriate paperwork, in line with SOPs.
  • Support the external or internal audit process with regards to test of controls and the preparation of documents.
  • Review tourist tax reconciliations of hotels.
Reporting and Analysis:
  • Produce and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly management & financial reporting.
  • Analyze complex datasets to create valuable insights.
  • Prepare general ledger journal entries, including correction journals, petty cash, and revenue transfer journals.
  • Prepare nominated Balance Sheet Reconciliations for NL/UK/Italy entities.
  • Liaise with other centralized transactional teams, Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), to ensure accurate, efficient, and effective processes.
Ongoing Improvement & Optimisation:
  • Focus on improvement and provide valuable insight by challenging the way things are done and making proposals to do them even better.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports to analyze figures and suggest improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with current and new industry technology relating to finance.
Leadership & People Development:
  • Oversee and manage income auditors.
  • Create and maintain positive and productive working relationships by setting high standards and clear performance expectations.
  • Support other departments when requested on a day-to-day basis by providing accounting knowledge based on education and experience.
