We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Hotel Service Associate to join our team at Radisson Hotel & Suites Amsterdam South. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have an unforgettable stay with us.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address their service needs, and thank them with genuine appreciation
  2. Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys
  3. Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit
  4. Process all check-outs, including resolving any late and disputed charges
  5. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns
  6. Run daily reports, identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy
  7. Actively support other departments and assist when needed to ensure smooth hotel operations
  8. Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system, count bank at the beginning and end of shift, balance, and drop receipts according to accounting specifications
  9. Demonstrate a proactive and innovative approach to skills and standards
  10. E nsure communication procedures are effective and efficient on a day-to-day basis to maintain service standards
  11. Communicate positively and effectively between the reception team and housekeeping team
  12. Have a sound knowledge of the local area regarding history, places of interest, and special events, and be able to provide further information
  13. Be able to act with initiative, planning, and possible consequences, and take proactive steps to exceed expectations of both guests and colleagues
