Engineering Manager, FinTech

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to join our Financial Systems team within the FinTech business unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing, guiding, and coaching a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software platforms with global impact.
Key Responsibilities- People Leadership: Inspire and motivate multiple cross-functional teams, directly manage engineers, lead by example, and nurture, grow, and develop engineering talent in the team.
- Technology, Craft & Delivery: Engineering planning and delivery, technical quality, and use of best practices within the team, delivery of wider engineering strategic objectives, and embed agile ways of working and company values within the team.
- Architecture & Product Strategy: Define, shape, and deliver the roadmap, contribute to quarterly and yearly planning to deliver department objectives, build new products, processes, and operational plans, and negotiate on the strategic importance of own product roadmap features.
- 8+/10+ years of experience with design of SAP environments, including integration of digital platforms/legacy applications with SAP.
- 2-4 years in people leadership role and managing multicultural teams.
- Product engineering background in large organizations.
- Experience with design, engineering, and management for SAP applications (Basis and HANA, SAP cloud), large virtualized environments (SAP on AWS preferred), and strong stakeholder management abilities.
- A passion to identify and solve user problems, experience managing teams in an international environment, and experience in designing and building resilient, secure, high-performing architectures.
- Proficiency in agile, dev-ops methodology, release management practices, and tools in a complex SAP landscape, and a good knack for spotting talent, a team player who can enable the growth of people they work with.
