Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our team at Eindhoven University of Technology. The successful candidate will be working on a new position within the Ultrafast Dynamics in Nanoscale Systems group, funded by the ERC project "EQUATE". The goal of this project is to engineer quantum materials for terahertz applications, focusing on the ultrafast thermodynamic properties of layered quantum materials.

Responsibilities

- Conduct research on 2D materials and their applications in terahertz technology
- Develop and implement ultrafast optical techniques and terahertz spectroscopy methods
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve project goals

Requirements

- MSc in (applied) physics or a similar degree
- Experience in research on 2D materials and/or ultrafast optical techniques and/or terahertz spectroscopy
- Excellent proficiency in English, good communication skills
- Independent and responsible
